Description | Lenovo recalls four models of ThinkPad X1 Carbon 5th Generation Notebooks
Lenovo has announced a voluntary recall of four models of its ThinkPad X1 Carbon 5th Generation notebooks. An unfastened screw in the product can damage the battery, causing overheating and posing a fire hazard. The affected models are 20HQ, 20HR, 20K3 and 20K4, which were manufactured between December 2016 and October 2017.
Consumers with affected models are advised to immediately stop using the devices, and to contact Lenovo Services at 800 852 6201, or an authorised service provider. Those with affected models can receive free service inspections for their devices.
