THE LOST FOOD PROJECT LAUNCHES NEW FOOD DISTRIBUTION HUB

KUALA LUMPUR, 25 APRIL 2025 – YB Senator Dr. Fuziah binti Salleh today attended the Launch Ceremony of the New Food Distribution Hub in conjunction with the 10th Anniversary Celebration of The Lost Food Project (TLFP), one of the key strategic partners of the Malaysia Food Bank Programme under the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN).
The launch of this new food distribution hub by TLFP represents a significant improvement in their ongoing efforts to address food security and food waste issues in Malaysia.
This historic event was graced by Her Royal Highness Raja Zara Salim, Raja Permaisuri of Perak, along with strategic partners, food industry representatives, and non-governmental organizations.
KPDN is the ministry directly responsible for coordinating food bank programmes in collaboration with NGOs. Through the implementation of the food bank programme and retort technology, this initiative provides comprehensive benefits to communities in need.
