Launching of Hotline “1510” and the Advocacy of Consumer Protection

On 7th June 2016, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce officially launched the Hotline 1510, witnessed by H. E. Khemmani PHOLSENA, Minister of Industry and Commerce, H. E. Somchith Inthamith, Vice Minister of Industry and Commerce, Mr. Ernst Hustaedt, GIZ Country Director for Lao PDR, representatives from the public and private sectors, the media, journalists and international organizations.
The Hotline will serve as a platform for consumers to channel their complaints, seek redress and find information on their rights as consumers.
