15th ASEAN Committee on Consumer Protection (ACCP) Meeting and Related Meetings

From 16-19 May 2017, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce hosted the 15th ACCP Meeting, which was led by the Philippines which holds the ACCP Chairmanship.
The Meetings focused on discussions on the implementation of the ASEAN Strategic Action Plan on Consumer Protection 2025 (ASAPCP) as well as the progress on the development and enforcement of consumer protection laws in each AMS. Meetings between the ACCP and its dialogue partners, namely; GIZ, United States Federal Trade Commission (USFTC) and Australian Development Cooperation Program II (ASEAN-AADCP II) were held back-to-back with the 15th ACCP Meeting, to strengthen cooperation and share experiences and best practices.
